Max Homa, born on November 19, 1990, in Burbank, California, developed a deep passion for golf from an early age. His father played a significant role in igniting his interest in the sport. His father used to go to Griffith Park golf range to play golf after his working hours. Max also used to join him in hitting golf balls.

However, he bounced back in the 2016 Tour season by winning the Rust-Oleum Championship and regaining his PGA Tour Card for the 2016–17 season.

Homa’s 2017 PGA Tour season was challenging, as he made only two cuts in 17 events and lost his card once again. He regained his PGA Tour card during the 2018
