The Kirkland Signature KS1 Putter stands out for its affordability without compromising quality. It offers a good feel and feedback, enhancing your putting confidence, and boasts customizable heel and toe weights for adaptability.

However, it’s only available in a single-length option and may exhibit some performance inconsistencies, especially for aggressive putting styles. Therefore, make sure to measure the length of your putter before considering this option.

The KS1 offers value but has limitations, so your decision should align with your unique preferences on the green.

II. My Experience With Kirkland Signature KS1 Putter

In my quest to improve my putting skills, I came across the KS1 putter. Among the various types of putters available, I have a personal preference for blade putters. So, let’s delve into the Kirkland Signature KS1 Putter review to know how it performed for me from both 5-feet and 10-feet putting shots.

Firstly, the putter face felt closed, and secondly, the putter head had a relatively high loft. Now, the closed face can be forgiving when you’re dealing with longer putts, helping to maintain a straight roll. 

However, within the five-foot range, it posed a bit of a challenge. It tended to push putts slightly left, causing them to miss the cup. 

2. Performance From 10 Feet

Shifting back to a distance of 10 feet, the KS1 Putter appeared to hit its stride. This is where I observed the best results with this putter.

Achieving consistent putts from 10 feet requires stability in your hands, and that’s where the SuperStroke grip truly shone. It provided the control and confidence I needed to sink those putts more consistently from this range.

This efficient roll greatly contributed to the accuracy of my putts. It allowed me to read the greens more effectively, knowing that the ball would behave predictably on its path to the hole.

KS1 Putter achieved a distance of 10.8 yards on a 10-foot putt. The putter’s balance and face technology seemed to shine here, providing the stability needed for such precise control.

III. Kirkland Signature KS1 Putter Review – In Terms Of Performance factors

There is a lot of debate on putting, whether it’s easy or difficult. But if you ask me, I would say a great putting stroke is a combination of great skill and good clubs. So, considering the performance factors of putters makes a lot of sense.

Let’s see how this Costco putter can impact your game:

1. Distance control (Score – 7/10)

In terms of distance control, I found that the KS1 Putter requires some practice. 

While the adjustable heel and toe weights helped fine-tune the putter’s balance, notably benefiting long putts, achieving precise distance control on short putts primarily depends on practice and skill. 

In this area, the Kirkland signature putter need some room for improvement.

2. Performance (Score – 8/10)

Performance-wise, this Kirkland Putter is noteworthy, particularly when you take its affordability into account. It delivers a solid and consistent feel, which can significantly boost confidence on the greens.

However, some golfers might find it slightly inconsistent when compared to more high-end blade putters. Nonetheless, it remains a suitable choice for those seeking a balance between performance and budget.

3. Looks (Score – 9/10)

The KS1 Putter features a sleek blade putter design that captures attention and provides a sense of assurance when addressing the ball.

Its clean and minimalistic lines contribute to its visual appeal, making it stand out among the clubs in golf bag. The classic design is versatile and likely to accommodate a variety of golfer preferences.

4. Sound and Feel (Score – 9/10)

I found that the SuperStroke grip with CounterCore technology is crafted to minimize unwanted wrist motion during my putting stroke, ensuring a stable and consistent roll on the greens. 

The grip also delivered tactile feedback, offering a comfortable and natural feel in my hands and enhancing control during my long putts.

However, I went to a local Costco store to add rubber cement inside the club head to hold the washers, preventing the putter from feeling too light. This adjustment significantly contributed to the satisfying sound and feel, making it feel like a completely different club.
